Purpose and legal basis
If your personal data is processed, the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) apply.
Website
Provided that your rights and freedoms are not overridden by KIWI’s legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR), we process your personal data, among other things, to enable you to use our website conveniently and securely.

If you contact us via our contact form, the contact details you provide us with (e.g. first name, surname, email address) will be processed for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in the event that follow-up questions arise. Communication via our contact forms takes place in encrypted form.
Contact via the contact form will be transmitted to BioNTech and processed by BioNTech as consortium leader and, if necessary, forwarded to the consortium or individual consortium partners. As a result, your message and personal data will also be transmitted to the hosting provider INSPIRE ME named below and the mail providers of the consortium partners.
The legal basis for this processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. To do so, please contact the data protection officer using the contact details above.
If you contact us in connection with an existing contractual relationship or in a pre-contractual context, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR applies.
Data processing due to legal obligations
We will process your personal data if this is required due to our legal obligations, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c) GDPR. This also includes the disclosure of your personal data in the context of legal proceedings or legal disputes.
